A patch cord looks like the simplest item in the catalogue and causes a disproportionate share of link faults — wrong polish, wrong fiber discipline, or a connector that has been plugged five hundred times. GRT organises its fiber patch cord range the way the plant is organised: by application family. The documented families are MPO cords, 10G single-mode, 10G multimode, gigabit single-mode and gigabit multimode, with single-mode, multimode and MTP/MPO sub-families beneath them.
Documented models in the range include 40G multimode MPO-MPO cords in 12-core and 8-core (female) versions, 10G multimode duplex LC-FC-MM and LC-LC-MM cords, gigabit multimode LC-LC-MM cords in simplex and duplex, and single-mode duplex LC-LC-SM cords in both 10G and gigabit grades — the catalogue’s standard length reference being 3 m. Insertion and return loss figures are confirmed per batch at quotation; we do not publish catalogue numbers we cannot hold.
What lengths can I order?
The documented standard reference is 3 m; other lengths are supplied per order. Give us your length schedule with the inquiry.
Simplex or duplex?
Duplex (two fibers, one per direction) is the default for transceiver links. Simplex serves BiDi and single-strand applications.
